Pike: The fish have really moved in now. The best action was in two feet of water (5′ including ice). Most of the fish were nicely sized. Three people, including our fishing manager Austin, caught four fish between 37″ and 40″. They also brought in many smaller fish, making for a good day of fishing. All of the fish caught, were caught on frozen bait. Walleye: The evening walleye bite has started to pick up steam. Staff fished anywhere from 8′ to 22′ over the weekend. The best results came in the 17′ to 18′ range out of Swift Ditch. Brent had some good luck, really shallow, out of Springsteel as well. Travel conditions on the lake are still good.
