Store Pickup

Products identified as eligible for store pickup may be collected at the applicable The Woods location after the customer receives confirmation that the order is ready.

Identification or other verification may be required at pickup.

Restricted products may be subject to additional documentation, background checks, age verification, eligibility verification, or other legal requirements before possession can be transferred.

An online payment or order confirmation does not override any legal requirement that must be satisfied before delivery or transfer of a regulated product.

Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges

Returns and refunds are governed by our current Return Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Unless otherwise required by law or stated in our Return Policy, a return may be denied if:

• The item was used or materially altered.
• The product was damaged after delivery due to misuse.
• Required packaging, accessories, components, or documentation are missing.
• The applicable return period has expired.
• The item falls within a non-returnable category.
• Return requirements have otherwise not been satisfied.

Firearms and FFL Transfers

Firearms and certain other products sold by The Woods are regulated under federal, state, and local law.

Purchasing a firearm online does not mean the firearm will be shipped directly to the purchaser.

Where required, a firearm purchased online must be transferred through an appropriately licensed Federal Firearms Licensee (“FFL”). Applicable background checks, eligibility requirements, required forms, identification requirements, and other legally required procedures must be completed before the firearm may be transferred to the purchaser.

ATF guidance emphasizes compliance with applicable firearms laws and regulations, including lawful transfers, required background checks, and proper recordkeeping. [atf.gov]

Customer Responsibilities

By ordering a firearm, you represent and acknowledge that:

• You will comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• You will provide accurate information necessary to process the transaction.
• You understand that payment for a firearm does not itself authorize possession or transfer.
• Where required, you will complete applicable transfer paperwork and background-check procedures.
• You will provide or select an appropriate receiving FFL when required.
• The receiving FFL may charge its own transfer or processing fee.
• Those fees may be separate from amounts paid to The Woods.
• The firearm cannot be transferred if the transaction cannot legally be completed.

The Woods reserves the right to cancel, delay, refuse to ship, or otherwise decline to complete a regulated-product transaction when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable legal, regulatory, licensing, verification, payment, shipping, or safety requirements.

ATF guidance states that licensees must also account for applicable state and local laws, including requirements associated with certain transactions involving residents of different states. [atf.gov]

Receiving FFL

When an outside FFL dealer is used, fulfillment may depend upon verification of appropriate licensing and receipt of information necessary to lawfully ship the firearm.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that the chosen receiving dealer is willing to accept the transfer.

Transfer policies and fees charged independently by the receiving dealer are between the customer and that dealer unless expressly stated otherwise by The Woods.

Failed, Denied, Delayed, or Uncompleted Transfers

Payment for a firearm does not guarantee that the purchaser will successfully complete a firearm transfer.

If a transfer cannot be completed, any return, cancellation, restocking, shipping, or refund issue will be handled according to applicable law, our Return Policy, and the circumstances of the transaction.

Do not attempt to purchase a firearm for a person who is legally prohibited from receiving or possessing it or otherwise provide false information in connection with a firearm transaction.

Ammunition and Other Restricted Products

Ammunition and other regulated or age-restricted products may be subject to separate federal, state, and local requirements.

Customers are responsible for providing truthful and accurate information and satisfying applicable eligibility requirements.

We may restrict shipping destinations or decline to fulfill a restricted-product transaction if we determine that fulfillment cannot lawfully or reasonably be completed.

Product availability on our website does not constitute a representation that the product may legally be purchased, shipped to, possessed, or used by every person in every jurisdiction.

NFA-Regulated Products and Suppressors

Products regulated under the National Firearms Act (“NFA”), including applicable suppressors or other regulated products, may require additional documentation, approvals, tax payments, waiting periods, transfers, or other procedures.

An online order or payment does not constitute government approval or authorization to possess an NFA-regulated item.

Customers must satisfy all applicable federal, state, and local requirements before a regulated item may be transferred.

We reserve the right to delay or decline fulfillment when legally necessary.
