It has been a very good spring for both numbers of fish and quality. Most people are still jigging with frozen shiners, but some are starting to pull spinners with crawlers. Most people fishing the west side of the lake are finding walleyes in the 8-15 foot range, whereas the East side of the lake seems to be a deeper bite, finding them anywhere from 18-30 feet.
