It was another great week for fishing! On the south shore, most anglers are fishing on top of, or around, structure anywhere from 10-18′. In the morning, as well as in the evening, anglers are using jigs and frozen shiners. Look to move out to the mud for the mid-day bite. (Pulling spinners with crawlers/leeches.) Moving around while using electronics to find big schools of fish traveling through the mud has seemed to be the ticket. There have been many trophy fish caught already this year. So far it’s shaping up to be another great summer of fishing!
