We hope everyone had a safe and successful opener! The weather was great and so was the fishing!Most anglers had their best luck jigging minnows on top of mid-lake structure and along the first shoreline breaks anywhere from 6-20′. Some People also had luck pulling spinners with crawlers. The water was warmer than normal this year sitting in the low to high 50’s, and even reports of 60 degree water in some areas. Because of this, some areas that typically hold fish this time of year might have already moved out, but can still be found by moving around and utilizing electronics.
