Walleye fishing has remained very consistent, finding fish as shallow as 5′, and as deep as 32′. Pulling spinners with crawlers and covering water up shallow during the morning and afternoon, then pushing out deep during the day and finding fish off structure out in the mud with either jigs and frozen shiners or pulling spinners has been the most productive. Pink and orange colors have seemed to be the best lately, although if you’re on active fish, color hasn’t made a huge difference.
