The West side of the lake is healing up with the colder temperatures recently. Trucks are starting to go out of Swift Ditch and getting out to 5-Mile Reef, and the fishing has been pretty good for most people. Getting on the edge of structure in 20-27′ and off on your own has been the been the best. Rattle baits and flutter spoons have been the tackle of choice for most anglers, tipping them with minnow heads.
