Tough, quiet, and dependable, it’s an all-welded stainless-steel suppressor designed to be cost-effective without cutting corners on performance. Ideally suited for bolt-action rifles and compatible with all .224-caliber centerfire cartridges from .17 Hornet through .223 REM, 5.56 NATO, and up to .22 Creedmoor, it covers every cartridge a varmint hunter is likely to reach for.
The VRMT 223 SS uses an industry-standard 1.375×24 HUB threads and ships with a 1/2×28 direct-thread HUB mount, making it easy to run on multiple platforms or adapt to your favorite HUB-style mounting system. At just 5.96 inches long with a 1.61-inch diameter and weighing 13 oz, it’s compact enough to carry all day and rugged enough to handle whatever conditions you put it through — whether that’s a coyote stand at dawn or an afternoon at the range.

RE: Silencer Shop (Jensen et al.) v. ATF – ATF Form 4
As you may be aware a Texas Federal District Court has issued an injunction in Jensen et al. v. ATF invalidating portions of the National Firearms Act (NFA). The Woods is encouraged by this ruling and hopes that it will lead to simplification of the silencer purchasing process for our customers. There have been various media reports that this injunction invalidates the NFA. Unfortunately, that is not the case. The Injunction applies only to the actual plaintiffs involved in the lawsuits. Those plaintiffs include certain silencer distributors, manufacturers and their customers, members of some firearm, 2nd Amendment & silencer advocacy organizations & some state governments. The Jensen ruling prevents the ATF from enforcing portions of the NFA against those plaintiffs, but not for all prospective purchasers. As a result, and because The Woods sells silencers across the country, we continue to submit ATF Form 4 applications on behalf of our customers and to transfer silencers pursuant to an approved Form 4.
