Abu Garcia Beast 400 Low Profile Baitcast Reel

The Abu Garcia Beast Low Profile Casting Reel is engineered for anglers throwing oversized baits for muskie, pike, stripers, and trophy bass, delivering heavy-duty performance without sacrificing comfort or control. The A-Symmetric body design reduces the reel’s overall footprint while maintaining spool size, making it easier to palm and control during long retrieves with big swimbaits or glide baits. Its rigid X2-Cräftic aluminum frame and handle sideplate offer superior durability, while the oversized brass Duragear Gen III gearing generates maximum torque for slow cranking and winching power against large fish. A Power Stack Carbon Matrix drag system delivers smooth, consistent pressure and includes a drag clicker for audible feedback when line is pulled. The 7 HPCR stainless steel bearings plus a roller bearing ensure smooth operation in both fresh and saltwater environments. Abu Garcia’s Infini Brake System gives anglers precise braking control when casting oversized lures, and the GullWing sideplate design allows for quick internal access without tools. A 95–105mm bowed aluminum handle fitted with oversized soft-touch knobs provides the leverage and grip needed for long sessions with high-resistance baits. Built for extreme applications, the Beast LP Reel offers more fish-stopping power, gear durability, and ergonomic control than any other reel in its class.
